Volunteers Needed at Parkview Home
Volunteer Musicians Wanted Parkview is in need of musical volunteers. Interested people would be on a rotation playing about every 6 weeks.
Volunteer Sunday Newspaper Reader Parkview has a wonderful newspaper reading program with volunteers reading the Journal Standard to a small group of low vision residents. Readers are scheduled throughout the week. Contact Lark Musser, Activity Director, at 815.232.8612 if you can help
Piano Lessons
Sign up for either beginner piano lessons or continuing piano 1 lessons. The dates will be Feb. 4, 11, 18 and March 4, 11, 18. The continuing piano 1 class will be at 1:00 and the beginner class will be at 2:00. The fee is $30 for the six hour class. The instructor is Mary Heffner who has taught for many years and welcomes new students. The class is held in the dining room at the Center. Volunteers Needed
If you are willing and able to assist elderly folks with their snow shoveling, call the Senior Center and ask for Vickie. No pay but a great deal of satisfaction helping others in our community.

We depart on Nov. 3, 2009 for an adventure to Greece featuring Greek Island cruising. Visit Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos, Kusadasi, Turkey. We fly in and out of Athens.
